Neck Pain from Texting on the Mobile phone?
Looking Down in the Computer?
Are you Looking Older?
YES!

Model 1. Many blame posture as the cause of not being able to stand or sit up straight.
Model 2. This is where the person is bending forward from the tops of the shoulder and the head is tilted forward
Model 3. THIS is bending too far backward. Doing this causes front of neck & jamming problems, stomach and over balancing backwards
Sitting in the office chair and sitting texting on the mobile phone are stretching the neck muscles, which, over time, brings on headaches, neck pain, jaw pain, hump back and upper back aching all caused by overstretching the muscles and a mattered muscle build up.
Add together repetition, huge stress, performance perfection, over exercising, fatigue.
What can we do about this problem?
1. Bring the mobile phone up higher so you don’t bend you head over so far have phone straight out in front of you.
2. Put a pillow on your lap when sitting on the lounge, sitting on your bed or at the desk.
3. Decide if you have a short neck or a longer neck. Long necked people have more soreness from bending over further than others.
4. Remedial Massage by professional accredited female practitioner in
Chelsea Massage clinic is best.
5. Have a full back, arms and neck massage to release tension and over stretching tendons and muscle. One hour session is a must.
6. This is not a bone or spine problem.
7. It is not a problem that stretching or exercise will help. As a matter of fact, exercising often makes the problem worse.
8. Always keep computer screen higher on the laptop up and use a external
wireless keyboard
Red area is the muscle tightness
For yourself and your young adult children, a Massage would be a positive way to release the tension out of your back, neck, shoulders arms and hands.
We get Uni Students coming in for massage after their first year because they are so fatigued and in so much pain; even their neck, back, arms, hands and fingers hurt from fatigue.
If your Neck and head have moved too far forward this called hunch back. It’s common problem for people that are bending their head forward seeing into computer screens, mobile phones and reading. Makes you roll your shoulders over and you do look older. Massage helps to release the muscles
Here at Chelsea Massage we are ready to help you regain a relaxed and pain free body.
It’s important to remember that you need to allow the same amount of time (like when you are starting to exercise) for your body to adjust. There are the first few session where you will be a bit sore from releasing and stretching those muscles. The more regularly you go and exercise the fitter you get. The same thing happens with regular massage!
With Massage, it is a recovery treatment. The first few sessions are unlocking tightness, any painful areas (many people have 5-6 injured and aching areas), and fatigue is much more common. As people progress with a massage program, they feel stronger, more confident, and pain-free. Their minds relax and everything starts to feel more positive. Life starts to flow in a happy way. This is when everything just feels better.
